About Me

As a school psychologist in India, my aha moment was when I was selected to be a part of a Rotary group study exchange to Oklahoma in 2000 and this boosted my self esteem. My counselling work since then has focussed on empowering the self, specifically working with identity issues as this can have a huge impact on relationships.
Issues with one's identity are often expressed as symtoms of depression or anxiety or a combination of both. These symptoms are coupled with difficulties in forming a relationship with the system, for example with parents, siblings, school, partners or workplace.I have specialized in working with teens, adolescents and families with multi-cultural identity.
